My fiance’ has a pain in her lower back almost everyday. When i massage it i notice that her muscles are almost rock hard/knotted until i massage them. Her doctor has prescribed her with meloxicam which is an arthritis medicine, the medicine does not help at all any other suggestions, besides icy hot, or ibuprofen/pain meds or some sort of diagnosis?
I think i pinched a nerve in my lower back, right at the top of my right buttocks. Should i get a heating pad? And what should i do to help it heal? Any stretches?
I was just curious because I have some free time before I start in January. I want to know what I could get familiar with to get ahead or make my learning easier. Thankyou. So I have a herniated disc in my back and my friends are all going snowboarding and I really want to go! I know I am going to fall and stuff, but how bad could that screw up my back? I played tackle football with my sorority a few months ago and it didn’t hurt my back too badly (I didnt know it was herniated then and I’ve had it since september) Do you think my choice in going snowboarding is a bad idea? thanks!
I have flat feet, which results in back/foot/leg pain and fatigue after standing still for long periods of time. I do have orthotic inserts for my shoes, but that doesn’t stop the pain.
What kind of medication could I talk to my doctor about regarding such an issue? Something that can relieve or possibly numb the pain but keep me coherent during extended periods of standing still? (like orthodox church services for example, which can last as long as 6 hours during the week of easter)
My period arrived 6 days late and when it did, I had a normal flow for the first day only and then brown spotting for a week after. I have now suffered from menstrual-like cramps for 3 weeks and woke up today with bad back pain that hurts on my right side, roughly waist height. I have had urine and blood tests which came back negative. In the case of an ectopic pregnancy, would my back pain be lower? Thank you for any help you can offer!
