Before her herniated disc surgery, Ruth Meyer had been in pain for more than 6 months. She tried conservative treatments such as nerve blocks, physical therapy and pain medication, but experienced no relief. She was forced to quit her job as a result of the pain and fell into depression. Soon after, she found Dr. St. Louis and Laser Spine Institute where she received minimally invasive, endoscopic herniated disc surgery that changed her life. This is Ruth’s story.
