I think it’s a pinched nerve in my neck with a pain that travels down my neck, under my shoulder blade, and down my arm. It’s bearable but will it eventually go away by itself or do I need to do something about it?

MOST cases will go away on their own within about 4-6 weeks and anti-inflammatories can help with the pain.
However, if your pain is in the left arm is constant and accompanied by chest pain or shortness of breath, seek medical attention right away.
Or if your pain is accompanied by significant weakness such as inability to grasp objects, or begins to travel to the other arm as well, see a doctor soon.
Otherwise, there is very little evidence for any formal treatment before 4-6 weeks since most cases go away on their own.
