Did you experience a pinched nerve during the 2nd half of your pregnancy? What did you do to alleviate pain?

When I was pregnant (4 months on) I had an upper back pain. It always started right below my shoulder blades, on either side, and it felt like a radiating pain. It happened after 20 minutes of standing up, so groceries or any kind of outing was horrible for me. Sometimes I got the pain depending on what kind of chair I was sitting on. Has anyone experienced this? Was it pinched nerve? What did you do that helped it?

I’m not planning on trying to getting pregnant again until later this year, but I just want to know what I can do to help in case it happens again.
I was seeing a chiropractor at first, but then we moved so I stopped. And I was a little scared of getting adjusted once I got big. I guess I’ll just have to make sure I go to my chiropractor regularly all through out my next pregnancy. Thanks.

Call your chriropractor! I had this problem and he fixed it right away, when your preggers it puts your spine under alot of strain, and i just needed ajustments :) not only that but that lady comes in and gives you a massage in the area thats bothering you when hes done, its to die for :P

How does a chiropractic know what part of spine hurts?

I was at a chiropractic office and somehow he told me where it hurts before I told him. How does he do it?

Chiropractors are specialists who focus on the alignment of the spine.

In medical terminology, chiropractic medicine is based on the idea of subluxation, which refers to the altered position of the vertebra in comparison to the other vertebrae in the spine, and the subsequent loss of functioning that may result due to this misalignment or joint dysfunction.

Chiropractors are very skilled with their hands, and specialize in touching techniques known as palpations. By simply feeling different areas of the spine, chiropractors can often note where the subluxation is taking place and pinpoint likely areas of pain within patients.

Chiropractors may also use X-rays and other pieces of equipment to determine areas of pain, but in your case, it sounds like these tools were not incorporated. As noted above by another user, chiropractors may be able to develop an initial idea of the source of the pain simply by your movements or how you react to palpation.

Have a nice weekend.

How can I lose baby weight with sciatica?

I’ve looked in a dozen sites and can’t find any good tips on how to lose the excess baby weight with sciatica. I can’t do pushups, crunches, or sit ups. I HAVE talked to a doctor, and she didn’t suggest anything. I had my baby 3 months ago and also got the approval to work out. Any advice will be appreciated! Thanks!

1. Eat more fiber – Fiber is great for many reasons. It helps fill you up without all the excess calories you don’t need. It also helps foods move through your bowels easily and faster, which can lead to weight loss.

How early can lower back pain and pain in the uterus begin after conception?

My partner and I have tried to concieve, and in the last couple days she has had some minor lower back pain and pain in the area of her Uterus. She is not due for a period for quite some time, but it seems too soon. It hasn’t even been a week yet since intercourse. Could this be a sign of conception?

may be a sign…better let her take a test. u can determine pregnancy after 10 days from sex

How much back pain is normal after pregnancy before getting concerned?

My son is 4 months old, and I still have horrible back pain at times. Most of the time it’s a dull ache across my whole lower back, but at other times, it locks up completely and I can barely move.

Is this normal, and if so, when can I expect it to go away?

I did have an epidural, about 5 monutes before they decided to do a c-section, so it was really pointless. The pain is not in the same spot that they put the needle in.

I have the same pain and my son is only 7 weeks so i don’t know when it will end. my doctor gave me motrin 800mg for it, when it gets so bad its unbearable.
